Carloway Community Association
Comann Coimhearsnachd Chàrlabhaigh
The aims of CCA are to promote the well-being of the community resident in the geographical area from Tolsta Chaolais to Dalmore largely through the management and development of a community owned and community led facility, and to promote social, environmental, cultural, heritage, commercial, and sporting activities.
Carloway
Carloway Community Association (CCA), is the principal, member-based organisation in the area. CCA welcomes membership from local residents and “Friends of Carloway” through associate membership.

Our Plans
Thanks to funding of just over £84,000 from the Scottish Land Fund, Big Lottery and the Scottish Government, CCA now owns and manages the former Carloway School and the Carloway Community Hall and we are progressing exciting plans for the redevelopment of the site into a unified Carloway Community Centre.
What’s On
CCA works closely with a number of other existing community organisations , including: Comann Eachdraidh Chàrlabhaigh (Carloway Historical Society), Carloway Community Shop Group, Còisir Ghàidhlig Chàrlabhaigh (Carloway Choir), Urras Oighreachd Chàrlabhaigh (Carloway Estate Trust), Carloway Community Council, and the Carloway Agricultural Society (Annual Show).
